Are the pots and planters frost resistant?
Yes all of the pots and planters across all of our ranges are frost resistant and have been tested up to -20°C.

We are prepared to guarantee our products for 10 years up to -15ºC where our advice has been followed, appropriate precautions have been taken and where our customers have purchased footings for their pots when making their online purchase. Our supplier has certificates of frost resistance tests made on all of the clays used in their production process, these can be seen under the product section.

How big are the items?
All of the items on the website have their dimensions and weight shown.

How will the items ordered be delivered?
All items less than 30kg’s will be delivered by courier. For our customer's convenience all items over 30kg’s will be delivered on a pallet. The pallet will be delivered by lorry which has facilities to handle much heavier items. Please ensure that the delivery address is suitable for a lorry and has sufficient space for offloading Please also be aware that if the delivery address has a gravel driveway, the pump truck which is used to deliver the items may not be able to operate and will therefore have to set down the pallet.

Am I safe to use my credit card on your site?
Yes our site is totally secure please see credit card information on “Store Policies.”



Where can I see the pots?
Global-Gardens have added a picture gallery which can be found here so that you can see some of our pots in situ. For customers who wish to visit our pots on diplay at our site can do so at Ridgeway Nurseries, 6 Ridgeway Road, Timperley, WA15 7EY. Customers are able to view a display of some of our pots, however, not all of the stock is displayed, but it is on site and can be viewed by appointment, please call us on 0800 970 4777 to arrange a convenient time.Global-Gardens will also be exhibiting a large selection of it's three terracotta ranges at a number of shows around the country. Please see "Shows" under our News Section here.

What does Postage and Packaging cost?
Postage and packaging is free on orders of two pots or more for all deliveries within mainland UK. Surcharges apply to Non mainland addresses including Northern and Southern Ireland. For International deliveries, please e mail enquiries@global-gardens.co.uk with details of the items you wish to purchase and we will respond with a quotation for delivery costs.

How may I pay for my purchases?
Global Gardens accept payment by the following credit and debit cards via our online store: Mastercard, Visa, JCB, AMEX, Maestro, Solo, Visa Debit and Visa Electron.

For customers who wish to speak to our sales department to make payment by credit card please call 0800 970 4777, this service is available 24 hours a day 7 days per week.

For customers who wish to pay by cheque, please send your full name, address and telephone number with details of the items you require. Your order should include the model name, model and size code of the pots required along with your cheque made payable to Global Gardens Limited for the total value of the goods you wish to purchase. Please send your payment to Global Gardens Limited, Suite 127, Peel House, 30 The Downs, Cheshire. WA14 2PX. Please allow an additional 3 days for delivery.


What happens if the item I wish to purchase is not in stock?
If you wish to purchase an item that is currently out of stock, please either e mail details of your requirements or proceed to checkout, our system will charge you an initial 20% deposit. We will then get back to you to let you know when we are able to deliver your order, this depends on the time of year and what other orders are being processed, as we have to have a minimum quantity of orders to make transport viable. The balance of the payment will then be taken once the item is received by Global Gardens and is ready for delivery. The customer will always have the option to cancel the order if they have paid a deposit and the delivery time is too long.

How long will it take to deliver my order?
Items in stock will be delivered within 7 days. (10 days if payment made by cheque).

Can I order the same pieces in the Etrusca range as the Terrecotte range?
All of the items in the Terrecotte range can be replicated in the Etrusca range. Please either email us on enquiries@global-gardens.co.uk or telephone us on 0800 9704777 with details of your requirements and we will get back to you with a quote for the cost of the item(s) and delivery times.

Can I have a special emblem, coat of arms or number on any of the pots?
As all of the pots are handmade it allows for bespoke work to be undertaken on any piece. Item IT004, for example, lends itself to the addition of a numeral to mark a special birthday or anniversary, a coat of arms or a corporate logo.
